We are delighted to announce that our next LINK event in Scotland will involve a group trip to Minds In Music - The Interaction of Music and Mental Health at St Cecilia's Hall, followed by drinks at The Newsroom Bar (close to Waverley station). This interactive session led by Dr John Tully (Psychiatrist, Wellcome Clinical Research Training Fellow at Kings College London and Musician) will explore the neuroscience of music, mental health issues in musicians, music therapy and music as an intervention, including drawing on a soundtrack created out of 5 years of work associated with the Minds in Music project. To find out more about the event, click here.
As ECRN members, we have secured a great ticket offer so you can attend this event for just £1.50 (normally £3 per ticket).
To secure your place, email Katey (katey.warran@ed.ac.uk) with ‘Edinburgh Outing’ as the subject title. You will then be sent details for how to pay. (Please note that payment must be made upon booking confirmation. Discount can only be claimed via email booking and cannot be applied through the eventbrite booking system.)
This is a fantastic opportunity that is not to be missed! Places are limited, so we recommend that you book early to avoid disappointment.
